Our Materials

The Exclusive Ponte di Roma Fabric
Praer sources a one-of-a-kind, double knit Ponte di Roma from South Korea
Ponte di Roma offers Praer a structured drape for our unique silhouette, composed of Cotton, Lyocell Tencel, Nylon and Elastane.
This offers our designs a thick, soft and slightly textured feel whilst being flexible and durable.
Lyocell Tencel are the pioneers in sustainable alternatives, compromising mostly of eucalyptus pulp and recycling 100% of their water and chemical usage.

Biodegradable Natural Buttons
Our buttons are 100% biodegradable and custom made in Kaunas, Lithuania
Made from a natural milk protein, Casein
And custom dyed to match Praer's colourways
This makes Praer's buttons both uniquely beautiful and biodegradable; a particularly rare quality amongst buttons

Braided Recycled Cotton Cords
Our cords are produced locally, in Staffordshire UK
Woven using high-quality recycled cotton and completed to a larger 9mm finish
The cord can be removed and replaced by hand

Cord Ends & Eyelets
Our heavyweight cord-ends are made from a refined Zinc Alloy and can be replaced by hand
The eyelets are produced from solid high-quality Brass, and are 100% Nickel-free, consciously avoiding the detrimental environmental impact of raw Nickel processing
